Students Help Bring Life to Family
We Will Proclaim
A team of 12 Crown College students accompanied Geoff*, an Alliance worker in Southeast Asia, to a remote farm for a “surprise visit” to an old farmer who needed help fertilizing his rice field. The farmer had low expectations of a good crop, since the field was on “cursed land.” As the team spread the manure, they prayed for an exceedingly abundant outcome. Later that year, the farmer reaped a harvest that far exceeded anything the land had ever yielded.
A few months later, Geoff and some local church leaders returned to the old farmer and introduced him to the “Lord of the Harvest.” The farmer, his family, and a neighbor received Jesus that evening.
