CONVERGE 2021
The theme of Converge 2021: Turning Obstacles into Opportunities in a World Impacted by COVID-19, could not be more appropriate. The virus has affected us all in one way or another. Faced with a significant increase in virus cases in Colorado and due to county health regulations, we were forced to cancel the in-person event.
However, this obstacle created a unique opportunity for us. The planning team has created online content using pre-recorded videos of many of the main speakers combined with two live sessions.

Who is Invited?
While Converge is designed for any pastor, missions leader, or outreach coordinator from an Alliance church with an attendance of 200 or more, all churches are welcome.
What to Expect
Everywhere we look we see desperate and overlooked people who need to hear about Jesus—in our cities and around the world. As a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family, The Alliance is passionate about bringing the gospel to those who have little to no opportunity to hear this good news. Every Alliance church plays a vital role in making this happen both in their communities and to the ends of the earth.
This year’s theme is Missions in a New Era … Turning Obstacles into Opportunities. We will focus on how the perceived obstacles that COVID-19 has thrown at us can actually lead to new opportunities for Alliance missions. We’ll look carefully at member care—building your relational partnership with IWs that includes caring and sharing in the good and hard times, supporting IWs in prayer and financial support, and investing in your IWs’ total well-being. We will also discuss new opportunities we have when it comes to strategic funding, short-term missions, and the promotion of Alliance missions in your church.
RegisterWHAT FORMER ATTENDEES ARE SAYING
Former Converge participants report that they have developed strategic relationships with Alliance leaders working through similar challenges and have seized fresh, creative opportunities to mobilize their congregations toward greater missions engagement.
99% of survey respondents said Converge met or exceeded their expectations.
93% said they would likely attend again.
In Their Own Words
Excellent week. Engaging, energetic, and uplifting. It provided application and interaction with others. I loved being able to network with others that are dedicated to missions.
This was my first time to attend, and it far surpassed my expectations.
Excellent conference; am already looking forward to next year—and am planning on bringing others from our church to attend as well!
Can’t tell you enough how much we got out of Converge and how excited we are to implement the ideas in our church. See you next year.
