Dear friends,

Paul writes in Philippians 3 that he focuses on this one thing: “Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.” He continues, “I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Christ continues that call on us to serve in West Africa. We are thankful for the many ways that He has shown Himself faithful to us, to our family, and to the great peoples among whom we serve. As our ministry shifts and changes due to increased security issues, we know that the One who calls us will continue to be faithful for the time He allows us to be an encouragement to the church in Burkina Faso.
Thank you for supporting us and for assuring that we are well resourced for our ministry. We return to continue teaching at our Bible School, to continue teaching Bible studies, to continue working with the deaf community and widows, but most of all to stand with our church in these difficult times.
Blessings, Andrew and Esther

3. We praise the Lord that the door has opened for us to minister to the underage boys at the prison. Pray as our prison team meets for a spiritual retreat and planning session for this ministry. Pray that more will be added to our team so that we can continue to bring Good News to the prisoners.
4. We thank the Lord for those who generously equip us to be a blessing to many here in Burkina Faso. These beautiful dresses are an example. Pray that all who receive these dresses will know Christ Jesus, who loves the children of this world.

1. It is with great sense of loss that we heard of the homegoing of our former president and friend, Rev. Thomas Traore. Thousands attended the funeral, including many high ranking government officials. Pray that many would turn to Christ, especially in these days of difficulty in Burkina.
2. We will be speaking in North East and Warren, PA this weekend. We had a wonderful week at Edinboro Camp, Signs of Grace, and Grace Church. We are thankful for the opportunities to share about what God is doing.
3. Next week we will travel with, David and Jillian to Albertville, France where they will begin language study with the long term plan to serve at the Bongolo Hospital in Gabon. Pray for them, the transition, the children, and that we can be a help to them.
4. Pray for Burkina. We believe in the power of prayer to change even the most desperate situations. Pray for our church leadership as they lean in to help with displaced people.
