Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,

Thank you again, for your prayers and support! 2022 is already challenging us with the continuing pandemic. However, we have seen people desirous of engaging in serving God and pushing forward.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

1. Pray for those who are leading churches here. Pray specifically for Gilberto and Laura, church planters in Mexico City. Pray also for Ana Miriam and Saúl who are sharing the responsibilities of pastoring La Fuente. Pray for unity and a sense of anticipation among all of our district pastors. Praise God for their desire to pray together and keep serving God even in the difficult places. Pray for a deeper work of the Spirit in each one's life.
2. Keep praying for our pastors and leaders to continue to boldly ask the Lord of the harvest to send out more workers into the harvest. Pray for an increased vision for those people groups inside and outside of Mexico who have not heard the name of Jesus (LRPGs or URPGs). Pray for us as IWs as we refocus our ministries to work toward giving access to those who do not yet have access to Jesus and His Good News. Continue to pray as we pray and move with our Mexican colleagues to mobilize the next generation to GO!!!

Pray for the ministry of Brave Heart as they work with the families of the ethnic groups that come into Mexico City in hopes of economic stability. Covid brings increasing challenges for health, income and education for these groups.

3. Continue to pray for solid opportunities for partnering with like minded groups in providing training for those who desire to serve God in their communities and world. Pray for openness and provision for those pastors who are studying online through FATELA, the Alliance seminary for Latin America. Pray for our national leaders, Pastor Tomás, Brenda, Alma and others, as they seek to take training to some of the more isolated areas of Mexico. Pray for sensitivity to the cultural and spiritual challenges found with working among the ethnic groups. Pray for an "oral translation" of the Bible which is underway with one of the indigenous groups.

4. Thank the Lord for Bridgeway, the International Bilingual School, which serves our international workers and their families, as well as serves as a means of outreach to families in Mexico City. Please pray for financial provision as they struggle to meet financial obligations. Pray for unity and a sense of shared vision among the staff and teachers. Pray for Kevin, the director of the school. Pray for staff, teachers and students as they are still juggling a hybrid format for classes. Pray as they envision beginning classes at the junior high level.

5. Please continue to pray for unity and healthy relationships as we serve alongside our national brothers and sisters in ministry. Ask God to teach us how to walk humbly with Him and one another. Pray as we continue to look for ways to partner in reaching the least reached. Pray for God to give wisdom to the national church leaders as well.

6. Praise God for continued opportunities to serve God via digital platforms. I have the privilege of walking alongside others in Spain, Nicaragua and Perú in the area of soul formation and spiritual direction in addition to those in Mexico.

Thank YOU for giving to the Great Commission Fund, for supporting me as I serve in Mexico and for PRAYING!
